Rules and Regulations for the Valley Fair Online Art Contest

Purpose:

This contest provides an opportunity for artists to showcase their talent and have their work

featured as a mural in the Valley Fair art hallway.

Prize: Artist’s work displayed in Valley Fair Shopping Mall Art Hall; $100 gift card for supplies; $500 Visa gift card.

Terms: Artists may submit (1) digital file representing their own, original work. Artwork must not be created using AI tools, infringe on any copyright, and must be able to be replicated by the artist or a representative of their choosing in a paint medium on a designated space in the Valley Fair Shopping Mall Art Hall.

Artists must be at least 18 years of age to submit, and the winner agrees to complete mural by 2/21/26. Submission window opens 12/29/25 to 1/9/25 via the link on www.shopvalleyfair.com. Artwork should be submitted in either 1000x1000 pixel or 1200x600 pixel resolution in JPEG or PNG format. A short description (50-100 words) of the artwork must accompany the submission. Submissions containing offensive, plagiarized, or inappropriate content will be disqualified. Winner will be announced at JanuArty on 1/17/25.

By entering, participants agree to allow Valley Fair to use their submissions for promotional purposes. Artists retain all original rights to their work. The decision of the judges is final. Valley Fair reserves the right to cancel or modify the contest at any time.
